Terms & conditions

• Both private and group lessons are booked as a course
• Only the target language must be spoken in the classroom
• Lessons will take place at an agreed set time each week
• Private lessons are for a duration of 90 or 120 minutes (unless otherwise agreed)
• Group lessons are for a duration of 120 minutes
• Intensive lessons are for a duration of 180 minutes
• Please be punctual for lessons
• Photocopies will be provided during the course and/or a coursebook will be chosen if necessary (coursebooks are not included in the lesson costs)
• The focus is on speaking and listening skills unless detailed otherwise in course objectives (although students will often need to enlarge their vocabulary and grammatical knowledge to achieve this)

Payment

• Payment must be made at the start of the course, as agreed with Lost In Translation
• Lost In Translation will provide a receipt of payment if requested

Cancellation

• Group lessons are booked as a course and no refunds are made for missed lessons unless otherwise agreed with the teacher

• For private lessons cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, the full amount will be charged. This cancellation charge will be waived if the cancellation is a result of an accident or death to the student or a family member.

Bad weather conditions

• In the case of extreme weather conditions, private lessons will be taken via Skype.  Please ensure that you have a skype connection available for this eventuality.
• Group lessons will either be re-arranged or refunded if the teacher is unable to travel to the lesson.
